The Monkey King is built to overcome any ordeal, armed with a Magical Golden Banded Staff, Specialized Armor, Cloud Walking Boots, and a Mighty Crown graced with Mystical Golden Phoenix Feathers. Because of these qualities he can be viewed as the supreme hero of Asian culture.
Through his trials and tribulations he went from being the ultimate rebel to being a respected individual that completed a righteous mission that was suggested to him. Fittingly the Chinese characters on the upper left read: Righteousness Respected Above the Clouds in Heaven.
